ONE Conference Creative Team
Back in April, the ONE Conference creative team met for the first time for a 2 day session. Right from the start, we knew that God brought this team together. In addition to our local team, God connected us with some amazing people from the Atlanta area that not only have lots of experience but they also have lots of passion. These guys have been amazing to work with. We have learned so much from being around them. Needless to say, we feel like we just had the best meeting we have ever had this past Thursday. We pretty much wrapped up the opener and barring a few tweaks here and there, the schedule is almost complete. This conference is going to be a life changer. We beleive it is more than just an event, but a platform for us to encounter God. We are so excited about what God is doing. If you haven't yet registered, you can do it here!

This week is only going to pick up steam! After 5 amazing weekend services, we are heading towards an amazing midweek service that I believe is going to rock the heart of our city! We are having a massive service in Downtown Miami at the Olympia Theatre in the Gusman Center.
Christine Caine is going to bring the message! She is a legend in my book and a dear friend who is literally by the grace of God changing the world! I personally have been waiting for this moment since the first time I heard her speak at a Catalyst Conference in 2010! If you haven't made plans to be there, you need to make them. If you have previous plans, I would try to change them. It is going to be a life changer! It is going to be in a theatre with a lot of history; but on Wednesday night will commence the writing of His Story of what He is going to do in our city! The event is free, but you need to register. Final Stretch
I can't believe that we are getting ready to wrap up yet another year! And what a year it has been. We have seen God move in some pretty amazing ways. But here's the deal; the year is not yet finished! So many things can happen at the end of a race! Big things. Outcome altering things. And the same thing can be true in our lives. Maybe you are having a not so great year. Maybe it hasn't been what you have been expecting. Perhaps filled with unment expecations. Listen, it ain't over yet. We have a God that saves the best for last. I think of the story of the wedding feast at Cana. Jesus pulled off the best wine of the wedding for the moment that seemed dry of hope. And maybe that's what God has for you on this final month of the year. Keep your eyes on Him! I believe that God isn't done with you yet.
And I know for sure that He isn't done working in the life of our church! We are gearing up for a Christmas series that I have titled "Clarity." Because if there is something that all of us need; especially during the Christmas season, is that of clarity. I mean, there are so many things that can bog us down, stress us out, and in the process distract us from what it's all about. And my prayer and hope is that God would give us a clarity as to what it is all about. Truly, it will be the game changer in our lives. So I am looking forward to seeing you all this weekend! And don't come alone. This is a great opportunity to invite family and friends to church as we explore the timeless, life changing Christas story. It's gonna be amazing! Love you all! Stoked to be on the journey with you! And remember, the best is on it's way!

Praying for the Flathead Valley
I am writing this at 5:55AM on the 3rd leg of a crazy journey back home from Montana on a red-eye flight. I came out to attend a Board meeting for an amazing work that has been going on in the Flathead Valley. It was 5 years ago that my friend Levi Lusko and his wife Jennie and their little baby girl left Southern California for Kalispel, Montana with a big vision, a big dream, and a big faith. Well 5 years and the purchase of two Theatres in Downtown Kalispel, two full power radio stations, a 3rd campus in Whitefish, a soon to be launched campus in Billings, and a Wednesday night evangelistic outreach called Skull Church later, we stand amazed at all that God has done through Fresh Life Church. Levi and his amazing team are killing it in the Flathead Valley and beyond. I had the privilege of preaching at Skull Church on Wednesday night for the second time to a packed house. It was so much fun. I am definitely praying for the bright future of this amazing work that God has begun! And believe me it has only begun! We have only seen the start of this Fresh work that is taking place in Montana! Hang on "fresh lifers," the best is on it's way!
The Road to ONE Conference

Britt Merrick was born and raised near Santa Barbara, California, in a little town on the beach named Carpinteria. He grew up entrenched in the surf industry and was the heir to the most famous surfboard company in the world, Channel Islands Surfboards. As a young adult, he oversaw the company’s marketing and advertising and managed its amateur surf team. Working alongside his father, Surfing Hall of Famer Al Merrick, he also made (shaped) surfboards for some of the best surfers on Earth.
Britt received Jesus as Savior when he was a young child, but he had never known what it was like to walk with God every day. He had both feet in the world, using and drugs, drinking alcohol, and getting into trouble. In his early twenties, Britt was introduced to the transforming power of the Gospel and the Word of God and He began a new life. Shortly after re-committing himself to the Lord he started to teach Bible studies for local surfer kids at his parents’ home. In 1998 Britt was invited to expand the studies and launched a Friday night college ministry at a church in Santa Barbara. In 2003, sensing a further call to ministry, he laid aside his work at Channel Islands and the Friday night college ministry and he, his wife and some close friends started a church called Reality in his hometown of Carpinteria.
Reality Carpinteria has grown to a multi-campus church of about 3,000 adults. The Reality family has expanded to include churches in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Stockton and London (England). Reality is passionate about church planting, community transformation and equipping and mobilizing the next generation of leaders. Britt continues to serve as pastor full time and recently authored the book Big God: What Happens When We Trust Him, which was endorsed by Francis Chan, Wayne Grudem, John Perkins and others. He lives and surfs with his wife Kate, and their two children in Carpinteria.
Heart & Soul

This is for anyone that serves in any capacity at any service or ministry of CCk, UTH Nation, and RebelChurch. I will be sharing the "why" behind the "what" that we do here at CCk.
