This morning I had the rare privilege of attending a church service at Calvary Fellowship in Miami Lakes. Rare, because I got to check my own kids into the children's ministry, I was able to sit down with my wife, and I had zero responsibililty. And I must say, the church service was awesome. The message was amazing. The people were awesome. I got to see some old friends that I haven't seen in years and had the opportunity to make some new ones. Pastor Bob Franquiz has been a good friend of mine for years. Bob has got to be one of the most gifted teachers I know. The worship rocked too. Both Pastor Bob and Pastor Mark Rodriguez (their worship leader) will be at Calvary Chapel Kendall on January 25th. If you live in the area of Miami Lakes or know someone that does, you need to point them in that direction.
Awesome!
I've been reading Pastor Bob's blog for a little while now, and I've been wanting to make the drive out to attend a service there with Pedro Carrion. Just haven't had a chance to get out there yet. (Good news though, they're podcasting now).
Actually, I was hoping to see either him or someone from Miami Lakes at Murrieta when we went, but didn't happen.
Gonna be cool to meet him at CCK.
See you soon Pastor P!
